Legal consultation fee
Our office's legal consultation fees are as below.
We will provide legal consultations up to three times.

Divorce
Iinternational Divorce and Family Issues by Mediation, Negotiations
Services for Mediation (chotei) as the Plaintiff (moshitatenin) or for Mediation as the Defendant (aitegata), with service in the English language available.
In some cases matters can be handled through Negotiations Prior to Mediation ("Initiation of Action Fee in the Case of Negotiation" of 200,000 yen + consumption tax). Negotiations Prior to Mediation will depend upon the case being handled. Please feel free to ask us payment questions.

Midterm-Fee

International Divorce and Family Issues by Lawsuit, Judgment of the Family Court
Fees are reduced for lawsuits and judgments of the Family Court in continuation of Divorce by Mediation. Initiation of Action fee in addition to fee paid by client for Divorce by Mediation is reduced to 100,000 + consumption tax.

* in cases of child support, division of property, consolation money or marriage expenses, an additional Professional Service fee (contingency fee) will be added according to economic benefit accrued.
* in cases of child visitation and parental care awards, where there is a requirement for another application to the court separate from that of the Divorce by Mediation, the client will be required to pay a further Initiation of Action fee and Professional Service fee for Special Negotiations.

Prenuptual agreements

Medical Malpractice
In medical malpractice cases, we proceed step-by-step:

❋ "Real expenses" will be charged in addition to the Initiation of Action fee. Example of a real expenses would be a cooperation payment to a physician providing professional help or the writing of a supporting medical opinion. If the amount of a "real expense" is projected to exceed 20,000 yen, the client will be alerted beforehand.
